Legal
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Optibee Enterprises LLC ("Optibee", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit optibee.com, including its language versions, or join our launch list. We keep it simple: this website has no accounts, no payments and no advertising trackers. The only personal information we actively ask for is what you enter in the signup form: your email address and, if you provide them, your name, company and phone number.
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for processing described in this policy is:
Optibee Enterprises LLC
A Wyoming limited liability company, USA
Email: legal@optibee.com
2. What this policy covers
It covers the public website at optibee.com (English, German, Italian, French and Spanish versions), the launch list signup on this website and email correspondence with us. It does not cover future client engagements, which will be governed by separate agreements.
3. Information we process
3.1 Visiting the website (hosting and security)
This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, acting as our hosting and content delivery provider. When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technical data in server and security logs: your IP address, the requested URL, date and time, transferred data volume, referrer and browser information. We use this data to deliver the website reliably, to defend against attacks and to diagnose faults. Legal basis for visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymized.
3.2 Launch list (newsletter signup)
If you join the launch list, we process your email address, any name, company and phone number you choose to provide, your chosen language version and the timestamps of your registration and confirmation. We use the double opt-in procedure: you will receive a confirmation email, and your address is only added to the list once you confirm it. We use the launch list to tell you when Optibee opens, to give you early access to our free audit and to offer a limited number of founding-client slots. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, using the unsubscribe link contained in every email or by writing to legal@optibee.com. Every email we send identifies us as the sender and contains a working unsubscribe mechanism (CAN-SPAM, CASL).
3.3 Contact by email
If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to respond. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your enquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
3.4 Web fonts
To display our typography consistently, the website loads fonts from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (for visitors from the EEA and Switzerland) and Google LLC, USA. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers and transmits your IP address and technical request data. Details are available in Google's privacy policy. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the uniform presentation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Processors and recipients
We share personal information only with service providers that we need to run this website and the launch list, under data processing agreements:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, content delivery, security.
- MailerLite (UAB "Mailerlite", J. Basanavičiaus g. 15, LT-03108 Vilnius, Lithuania, EU): email marketing platform used to store the launch list and send launch emails.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising and we do not use advertising networks or analytics trackers on this website.
5. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics scripts. The signup form transmits your details to MailerLite only when you submit it.
6. International data transfers
Optibee operates from the United States, and Cloudflare processes data in the USA. For visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, transfers to Cloudflare are safeguarded by Cloudflare's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, EU standard contractual clauses. The launch list itself is stored by MailerLite in the European Union.
7. How long we keep information
- Launch list: until you withdraw your consent, and at the latest six months after our launch communication has concluded.
- Server and security logs: typically no longer than 30 days.
- Email correspondence: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.
8. Your rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR and equivalent laws, you have the right to access your personal data (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority of your place of residence. To exercise your rights, email legal@optibee.com.
9. Your US privacy rights
For visitors from the United States: we collect only the categories of personal information described above (identifiers such as name, email address, phone number and IP address, and professional information such as your company). We use them for the purposes described above, we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not engage in targeted advertising. Because we do not track visitors across websites, this site does not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals; there is nothing to opt out of. California residents may request access to or deletion of their information by emailing legal@optibee.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
10. Children
This website addresses businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age.
11. Security
All traffic to this website is encrypted in transit (TLS). Access to the launch list is restricted, and we rely on established providers with certified security programs. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the website or our processing changes, for example when Optibee launches its full service. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
